Do condo movers cost more than house movers?
Our pricing remains the same for condo movers! We start at $129 per hour for door-to-door moving.
Do you handle elevator bookings or do I need to arrange that with my building?
We’ll guide you through the process and even coordinate with your building when possible, but most condos require the resident to officially reserve the elevator under their name. We’ll make sure you know what to ask for and provide any paperwork needed to book the elevator for your move.
How do you protect my condo unit from damage during the move?
We use wall, door, and floor protection so your home (and security deposit) stays safe during your move. We also take extra care ourselves to make sure your furniture doesn’t scuff or scratch your old and new property.
What if there's no parking available near my condo?
We’ve moved in every type of city setting, from busy downtown streets to condo complexes with limited parking. We’ll plan to make sure that there’s a safe and secure spot for us to transport your belongings to our moving truck.
What if my condo has strict moving hours?
No problem! Our condo moving services are flexible. We suggest booking your move with us 6 to 8 weeks in advance so we can work with the moving hours set in place by your building.
We’ll schedule your move within the building’s allowed time frame to avoid fines or delays.
Do you move items that are hard to fit into small spaces?
Absolutely. Our professional condo movers are experienced with small doorways, tight hallways, stairwells, and elevators. If your furniture needs to be disassembled, we handle that too and make it even easier to move your furniture during your condo move.
Can you move me in and out of a condo on the same day?
Absolutely. We specialize in these transitions and work closely with both you and the facility to make the move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
What if my condo board requires proof of insurance?
Your building may ask for a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from your moving company to guarantee liability coverage for common areas. We’ll gladly prepare these documents for you and your building so you don’t have to worry.
Do you offer evening or weekend condo moving services?
Yes! Our moving company works 7 days a week so we can offer you the best, most flexible scheduling for all your moving needs. We also work day and night if there are any further conflicts with scheduling.
What happens to my large items I want to discard?
Every condo building has its own rules for bulky items. Some provide a designated disposal or recycling room, while others require you to book a pickup or use a donation service. If your building doesn’t allow on-site disposal, MOVE IT RIGHT can help arrange removal so those old couches or mattresses don’t slow down your move. Just let us know ahead of time, and we’ll build it into your moving plan!
